Goodness, Friends ...
Illness has hit our household, hard. High fevers, respiratory problems, pink eye, coughing ... it's been a week of this, too.
My wife and I are evaluating if we need to take the youngest in to the emergency room, so week 74 marks the first post that I'm going to have to more or less skip -- 73 certainly came close.
So, instead, enjoy some Jonathan Richman from 1977 and watch a 45 spin while he sings Roadrunner.

The history of the Porsche company began long before Ferdinand Porsche thought of starting his own auto manufacturing business. As a young engineer, he designed the first electric/gasoline hybrid - in 1900. Over his career, he worked with Daimler, Mercedes, Daimler-Benz, Volkswagen, Auto Union, and others for nearly 50 years. His independent design firm was even responsible for the creation of the Volkswagen Beetle in 1931. We won't go into more detail about the different models Porsche has created over the years but it all began with the their first model, the 356 in the late 1940s (1948).
